Yadong Ruan

Dr. Yadong Ruan is Chief Technology Officer at ACERTAS. He brings deep financial, mathematical and computational expertise to the development of a wide range of ACERTAS’ platforms, from exploratory data analysis through model optimization to development, algorithm implementation and platform deployments worldwide.

Dr. Ruan is highly experienced harnessing the latest data, predictive analytics and AI advancements by fusing team-based science with agile, robust engineering for over 10 years. He specializes in AI/ML statistical learning, numerical analysis, modeling and simulation processes and mathematical finance all applied to markets, policy and global enterprises. Dr. Ruan’s contributions include automated augmented decision intelligence platforms and he holds several patents on next generation AI/ML predictive analytics. Previously he was a Financial Analyst at the China Guangfa Bank in Beijing.

Dr. Ruan received a B.S. in International Trade and Economics from Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing. He also holds a dual M.S. in Financial Engineering and Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Mathematics with emphasis in fluid dynamics from Claremont Graduate University.
